The Seasonal variations in Australian vineyards resource suite supports students in exploring seasonal changes in vineyard operations throughout a year. Through guided research, targeted case studies, hands-on modelling tasks, this two-lesson unit provides students with an engaging insight into real-world technologies, operations and occupations that optimise grape production and promote sustainability across Australia’s viticulture industry.

This course offers a comprehensive look into the world of wine and viticulture in Australia. The resource explores the various wine regions across the country, understand the current industry challenges and practices, and gain insights into the impact of climate change and export markets.
MULITMEDIA | VIRTUAL TOUR
A Day in the Life of a Wine Grape | Years 7–10
This virtual tour offers an engaging, self-directed learning experience for students, highlighting the value supply chain of Australian wine, with a particular focus on the careers involved in the journey from grape to glass. Students can access the tour through the virtual careers matrix, which allows them to select their areas of interest to guide them towards a career in the wine supply chain. The resource is accompanied by downloadable Australian Curriculum-aligned worksheets and activities.
