Ag in a Box is lifting the lid on a world of agriculture for school students. Ag in a Box is a recycled boxed, full of physical resources and teaching programs to reduce the burden on hard-working teachers.
Each box is packed with hands-on learning for students and meets the needs of teachers by aligning perfectly with the NSW school curriculum.
Ag in a Box ensures that you do not need an agricultural background as it has been designed by both teachers and agricultural experts.
BLAZING BEEF
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is thrilled to launch its sixth Ag in a Box, ‘Blazing Beef’. Thanks to the generous support of the RAS Foundation, this resource will be offered free to schools. While all schools that apply will receive access to the electronic materials, the first 300 schools will also secure the highly sought-after physical resource box.
Developed by educators, ‘Blazing Beef’ is designed to captivate students and deepen their understanding of the vital role of livestock and meat production. This innovative program brings agriculture into the classroom, guiding students through the fascinating journey of beef from paddock to plate while emphasising sustainable and ethical farming practices.
