This video is about sustainable lobster farming. There is also a downloadable teacher/student worksheet below.
Video in review: Andrew Lawrie is a Rock Lobster Processor with Sky Seafood in Robe SA. This is a wild caught fishery that involves setting traps. There have been changes to the industry with buy back, pot reductions, through reduction of quota, with the idea of supporting sustainability in the industry. Lobster grading for live export, mostly to China, which links in to free trade agreement. There is an explanation of the difference and challenges between wild caught and aquaculture.
