Interactions Between Subsystems on Forestry Farms

This Stage 6 (Year 11/12) Agriculture lesson has been developed for the N.S.W BOSTES Stage 6 Agriculture Syllabus.  It will allow students to identify the inputs, processes, outputs,  boundaries, subsystems and interactions on a Forestry Farm. They will also learn some practical examples of how this enterprise operates and compare it to a Beef cattle enterprise. Students will gain skills in representing a Forestry system and subsystem by constructing a model. Information will be collected from a range of online sources and collated in a group activity.
