Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare

Australian Good Meat have produced five short videos that can be viewed on Youtube – that explain, in simple terms, the five freedoms of animal welfare:

  • freedom from hunger and thirst,
  • freedom from discomfort,
  • freedom from pain, injury and disease,
  • freedom from fear and distress, and
  • freedom to express normal behaviour.
